June 5-7 Advanced Driving & Race School Schedules, Waivers and Other Important Details For Participants - Please Read

We are very happy to be offering both our originally planned June Advanced Driving School and date adjusted BMW CCA Race School events on June 5-7th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP). It has been a long wait but CTMP and Trillium are allowed to host these events with some necessary precautions to ensure our safety. The following forms are required for participation. 1) Prepare you tech form by getting your car checked out by a certified mechanic (downloadable from our Forms Download Page), 2) Download, print, sign, and bring your waiver (or waivers for family/crew) to the track. Tech forms and waivers can be found on our Forms Download Page.

Participant Qualifications

With social gathering and distancing rules still in effect we cannot run this event with instructors in the car. Therefore, we will not/not be running the Novice "C", Intermediate "B" and Advanced "A" (with less than 3 weekends of experience in Group A) groups at this event. This event is only open to pre-approved Solo students, instructors and Advanced "A" students with a minimum of 3 full weekends in the Advanced "A" group plus approval from the Chief Instructor. Hopefully we can get back to our full event groups soon, however, the only way we can host the June event is if there is only one person for each car. If you are unsure of whether you qualify to attend as an Advanced student, please email registrar@trilliumbmwclub.ca.

Those who have registered but cannot participate will be given the option of a refund or transfer to a future event in 2020.

CovID-19 Precautions - Please Read In Full

We are very fortunate to be able to have this event. We ask all of you that participate to fully adhere to the new procedures so that the event can be safe and fun.

  • All participants must maintain social distancing by standing at least 6ft / 2m  apart throughout the weekend.
  • No groups larger than five (5) people and the group individuals must maintain social distancing. If the Ontario Government relaxes this rule before the event we will update you.
  • Proper hand washing is encouraged throughout the day.
  • Masks must be worn if the social distancing protocol cannot be met for short periods.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring their own masks if they wish to wear one.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at high traffic areas but participants are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer, wipes and other protective supplies as necessary.
  • Any participant who develops symptoms before the event must not attend. A full refund will be provided.
  • Any participant who develops symptoms at the track and has not turned a wheel on track will be provided a full refund.
  • Any participant who shows symptoms at the event will be asked to leave.
  • Pets are allowed but the owner is solely accountable for the pet at all times and the pet must be handled such that social distancing from other participants is maintained since the coat of a pet can act as a transmission surface.
  • Gloves are not required but if used for COVID-19 protection refer to the Health Canada usage guidance.

Those who register for the event (or who have already registered) will receive detailed instructions in the next ten (10) days. In the meantime, get your cars tech checked!
