Members, the dates for next year's driving school are now available. We will be hold our 4 primary events at the Grand Prix track at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mosport). In addition to our two GTA-local events, we will be holding one outside event at Calabogie (near Ottawa) and another at Pittsburgh International Race Complex (near, well . . . ah Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). These two events will require a deposit of $100 for each driver planning to attend to show committment to the event. If committment is insufficient, we will not hold the event and the deposit will be returned.
The Trillium Chapter wants to thank all who attended our first three-day Advanced Driving School at Calabogie Motorsports Park held on Friday, July 19 and ending Sunday July 21. We especially want to thank our volunteers and instructors. We had both of good mix of people from both locations near and far. It was great fun to see drivers from all over getting together for a great weekend of driving. Trillium looks forward to a future Calabogie event.
On behalf of the entire Trillium BMW Club Executive team and Board, I would like to thank Zoltan and Anna Maria for doing all the work to organize and run the rally!
We all had a lot of fun and the roads were great as was the company! Regards, Isi

On Tuesday August 28th, Trillium members enjoyed a social hosted by 11Tenths Racecraft. Guest speaker Franz Walker from Liquimoly gave us a presentation on their new line of race motor oil and discussed the details of the viscosities between 5W40 and new 0W20 for BMW’s current line-ups.
Afterwards, BMW Canada showcased a G30 540i M Performance & F32 440i M and discussed the value and benefits of Original BMW and MINI Parts, along with M Performance and BMW Motorsport parts.
Over 50 members enjoyed a great social at The Paddock Motor Club (https://paddockmotorclub.ca/) on July 21. Right from the moment we entered the club we were warmly welcomed and treated as VIPs. The state of the art decor, excellent service, and delicious lunch was just the beginning. The real fun began with the race car and golf simulators, the viewing of Paddock's amazing collection of unique cars, or just catching up with friends over a cool drink.

The Trillium club wants to thank both Ross Bentley and all Trillium instructors for the solid participation we had at Ross' Toronto event held at the Latvian Centre Sunday (especially the excellent catering staff), April 8. We also want to thank the local Porsche Chapter (PCA-UCR) for their fantastic support and participation in making this a well attended event.
Thank You for Attending the X2 Launch
Aimed at customers looking for something sporty and practical, the X2 combines elements of both an SUV and a hatchback. Pfaff had 3 vehicles on display, with two wrapped in dynamic and stylish designs.
We enjoyed talking with other BMW enthusiasts and got the opportunity to explore the X2 firsthand at Pfaff's Mississuaga BMW Showroom.
